Bamburgh Castle often known as “The King of Castles” was once the royal seat of the Kings of Northumbria. The Castle has stood guard over this beautiful coastline (recently voted Britain’s best coastal destination) for over 1400 years. Spanning nine acres of land on its rocky plateau, Bamburgh Castle is one of the largest inhabited castles in the country. On 24th July for visitors to the Castle, the owners have invited Canine Partners for an awareness and collection day to highlight the work carried out by the charity.
