This week demo dog Yarna and her handler Ali as well as volunteer Ian, visited Toynbee School in Chandler's Ford.

All year groups, pupils and staff thoroughly enjoyed the presentations. Here is what the school had to say:

“We really enjoyed our talks from Canine Partners this week. Our pupils were amazed and enthused by what they heard and particularly what they saw Yarna do. Ali gave some great examples of work the dogs do in and around the local area to help their partners, which the pupils could definitely relate to.

“We were pleased the pupils had lots of questions to ask which were answered really sensitively. Nothing was too much trouble and the star of the talks was by far Yarna. She was amazing!

“We were so impressed we’re going to book further talks for our year 11’s and intend to do some fundraising for Canine Partners as a school this year. Thank you Canine Partners for making it such a memorable week.”
