Canine Partners is joining the national 2.6 Challenge campaign, which will take place on Sunday 26 April 2020.

During these unprecedented times, we have had to cancel and postpone many of our summer events and the organisers of The 2.6 Challenge want to help save the UK’s charities. The 26 April 2020 would have been the date of the cancelled London Marathon, so please help us turn the day into something positive!

So what is The 2.6 Challenge?

All you have to do is decide what you’re going to do that is in the units of 2.6 or 26, and then follow the link below to sign up, and start fundraising.

There are no fees and no hidden costs – 100% of your fundraising will come directly to Canine Partners from Just Giving and Virgin Money Giving.

Here’s a few ideas from us to get you started:

  • Get active and walk (or run) 2.6km or 2.6 miles around your home or garden
  • Hop, skip, dance or exercise with friends virtually for 26 minutes
  • Do 26 press ups, chip 26 golf balls into a bucket, or hula hoop 26 times in a row
  • Get creative and bake 26 cupcakes or 26 cookies
  • Draw a picture of 26 different animals or flowers
  • Make a patchwork with 26 squares of old fabric
  • Simply donate £26

Join in and be a #HomeHero! Please help bring the nation together on Sunday 26 April 2020, by taking on The 2.6 Challenge and raise vital funds for Canine Partners.

Please remember to follow government guidelines and social distancing rules when taking part in The 2.6 Challenge.
