Canine Partners

On 17th September, fantastic staff from several Humberts offices got in a spin by cycling 60 miles per branch to raise much needed funds for us. The challenge involved cycling on static bikes for a total of 1,215 miles – the distance between all 21 of their branches.

As well as pushing the pedals, many of the offices also baked delicious cakes and organised raffles with fabulous prizes as well.

The total raised equates to just over £2 per mile ridden, an amazing achievement and a significant chunk of the £7,500 that the estate agents have pledged to raise for their adorable sponsored puppy Humbert.

This money will go towards Humbert’s training and care as he learns the crucial skills he will need to help transform the life of a person
with physical disabilities.

Ian Westerling managing director of Humberts said: “We’re so proud of all our staff who took part in this gruelling ride – it was a huge team effort and we were delighted with their results.

“Having recently met the puppy we’re sponsoring, aptly named Humbert, our staff were even more motivated to hit their targets. Canine Partners do an amazing job and we’re pleased to be raising money for them.”
