Accreditations
We are fully accredited members of the following organisations:
Assistance Dogs UK (ADUK)
Assistance Dogs UK raises awareness amongst the general public and promotes behavioural and legislative changes to ensure the freedom, independence and rights of all those with assistance dogs.
It is a coalition of assistance dog organisations and encourages the exchange of ideas and best practice amongst its members. The current members are:
- Canine Partners
- Guide Dogs
- Hearing Dogs for Deaf People
- Dogs for the Disabled
- Support Dogs
- Dog Aid
- Medical Detection Dogs
We work closely with fellow members, as well as running regular campaigns to promote access and understanding of the role of assistance dogs in supporting the needs of people with disabilities.
Assistance Dogs International (ADI)
Assistance Dogs International is a coalition of not for profit assistance dog organisations across the world. The purpose of ADI is to improve the areas of training, placement, and utilisation of assistance dogs, staff and volunteer education, as well as educating the public about assistance dogs, and advocating for the legal rights of people with disabilities partnered with assistance dogs.
Canine Partners is fully accredited to the standards of ADI, and as we operate in the UK, we are allocated to the European regional chapter of ADI, known as Assistance Dogs Europe. Canine Partners has played a role in the international dog stage for many years, and assists in the accreditation of budding programmes across the world, on behalf of ADI.
