Go Purple for Paws – Canine Partners Birthday Challenge!
Help us celebrate our Birthday in style by going purple for paws!
On 27 June brave to be bold and join us by celebrating all things purple and help spread vital awareness of Canine Partners!
Dig out your favourite purple attire, bake some purple goodies, or be brave and dye your hair purple – all in aid of spreading awareness of Canine Partners and the amazing work we do partnering disabled people across the UK with a life-changing assistance dogs.

Arlington Bluebell Walk – 11 and 12 May
A beautiful, fully accessible walk through Ancient Oak Woodland full of Bluebells. The bluebell walk supports charities during the months of April and May. Canine Partners are managing the walk and running the refreshments on 11 and 12 May.

Captain Tom 100 Challenge
Friday 30 April 2021 would have been Captain Sir Tom Moore’s 101st birthday and the one-year anniversary of the extraordinary celebrations following the conclusion of his famous 100 laps of his garden in the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Following the outpouring of heartfelt messages since his death on 2 February, his family pledged to celebrate his life with an event that everyone in the UK and around the world, could get involved in to celebrate Captain Tom’s generosity of spirit, the hope and joy he brought to millions, and his sense of fun.
And that event is the Captain Tom 100.
Everyone of all ages and abilities is invited to take on a challenge around the number 100 any time and anywhere over Captain Tom’s birthday weekend, starting on Friday 30 April through to Bank Holiday Monday 3 May.

Do it your way!
Here’s a few ideas to get you started:

At Home Winter Wonderwheels
As official Charity Friends of the Superhero Series, the UK’s one and only disability sports series, we’re very excited to invite you to take part in the perfect mission to keep you super-charged this winter – at Home Winter Wonderwheels powered by Marvel.
You can complete this ultra-flexible 20km* challenge any time between 5 November and 6 December, anywhere (living room, garden, neighbourhood) and in any way (walk, run, push, wheel, canoe, swim) you wish. You can also choose to fly solo or unite with family and friends in your household, or remotely using a dedicated app, to share the challenge. Anything goes!
In return for all your hard work and fundraising efforts, you will receive a super race pack, including race number, medal, finisher’s T-shirt and finish line tape, so you can experience your own personal finish-line moments! Plus…
…a chance to be on TV!
An array of celebrities, from Adam Hills to Sophie Christiansen, will be stepping up to the mission from their own homes this winter and Channel 4 will be capturing highlights for a one-hour programme on 12 December – which you could star in too! You will be invited to upload your own action footage of your training, the mission and those all-important finish-line moments, which could be chosen for the closing celebratory montage! They’re after mega amounts of Superhero energy, so get those costumes, smiles and Superhero poses ready!

The 2.6 Challenge
Canine Partners is joining the national 2.6 Challenge campaign, which will take place on Sunday 26 April 2020.
During these unprecedented times, we have had to cancel and postpone many of our summer events and the organisers of The 2.6 Challenge want to help save the UK’s charities. The 26 April 2020 would have been the date of the cancelled London Marathon, so please help us turn the day into something positive!
So what is The 2.6 Challenge?
All you have to do is decide what you’re going to do that is in the units of 2.6 or 26, and then follow the link below to sign up, and start fundraising.

Here’s a few ideas from us to get you started:

Canine Partners @ Goodwood Five Mile Hillclimb Run 2019
The Goodwood Estate is raising vital funds for Canine Partners with a number of events throughout the year.
On Wednesday 14 August, take part in a 5-mile run around the Goodwood Estate. There will also be a Junior race for 6-17-year-olds which will involve a 1-mile route around the Estate.

Canine Partners O2 Climb
There’s no lift, no escalator and no-one to carry you…get your blood pumping while raising money to train an amazing puppy to grow up to be an amazing assistance dog by taking part in a sponsored O2 Climb!
Kitted out in a climb suit, boots and harness you will become an ‘urban mountaineer’. Guided by the Up at the O2 team, you’ll have the unique chance to ascend to the top of the O2 along a walkway, suspended 52 metres above ground level…and we’ll be waiting to congratulate you on your challenge when you get back down!
Please note that places are limited to 30 people and cost £40 each with a fundraising target of £200 per person.
