As one of four charities selected for the 2025 Appeal, alongside The Not Forgotten Association, Motor Neurone Disease Association and Prostate Cancer Research, this was a fantastic opportunity to shine a light on the life-changing impact of our assistance dogs. From November 2025 to January 2026, stories from our partners and volunteers featured in the newspaper and online, helping to raise both awareness and vital funds.
Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of Telegraph readers, the overall Appeal raised a record-breaking £672,000. The Appeal also included a hugely successful charity phone-in day, raising a record £125,000, and a memorable Christmas carol concert at St Bride’s Church in London, where supporters came together to celebrate the season and the difference they are making.
We cannot thank Telegraph readers enough for their generosity and support. Our assistance dogs bring confidence, companionship and a powerful partnership that reduces reliance on carers, giving disabled people the freedom to live life their own way.
This year we will create another 40 life-changing partnerships, whilst continuing to support over 300 existing partnerships, and this funding will help make that possible. From breeding and puppy raising, to training dogs in specialised tasks, to matching and supporting partnerships throughout their lives, every single person who donated has helped change a life for the better.
