Earlier this month, we held a Family Fun Day and Dog Show at our National Training Centre as part of our 35th anniversary celebrations, which raised an amazing £2,500. Thank you to everyone who attended!

We had a wonderful time at our Family Fun Day and Dog Show at our National Training Centre on Saturday 2 August. It was fantastic to welcome families, dog lovers and our local community to celebrate together and support our life-changing work.

With live music, food stalls, activities and vintage vehicles, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The dog show was a highlight, with four-legged friends competing in fun classes such as Handsomest Chap, Best Trick and Golden Oldie. Visitors also loved seeing our amazing assistance dogs in action, demonstrating the incredible tasks they perform to support their partners every day. The day began with a convoy of vintage tractors from the Canineball Road Run and entertainment from The Quo Ukulele Orchestra and Delta Connection kept the celebrations lively throughout.

We’re delighted to share that the event raised £2500, which will go directly towards creating more life-changing partnerships. This year’s Family Fun Day was especially meaningful as we mark our 35th anniversary – more than three decades of transforming lives through over 1,000 partnerships across the UK.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us, brought their dogs and helped make the day such a success.
