Meet Bailey and Whiskey – two four-legged best friends who, along with their owners, took on a month-long fundraising challenge to raise funds for Canine Partners.

After learning about the charity through a friend and meeting some retired canine partners, Barbara and Jacky from York saw firsthand the lasting impact of our training and the strong bond between our dogs and the people they support.

Wanting to involve their dogs in their fundraising efforts, they came up with Bailey and Whiskey’s Adventures – a challenge where the dogs tried a new activity every day throughout June.

They have been visiting lots of different places, here’s just a few:

  • Went Paddleboarding at Allerthorpe Lakeland Water Park
  • Invited to join Generation Groove Orchestra rehearsals
  • Attended our local Wigginton Parish Council meeting
  • Visited North Yorkshire Moors Railway

Thanks to generous supporters, what started as a modest £300 target quickly grew to £2,000!

Through their creativity and dedication, Barbara, Jacky, Bailey and Whiskey have not only raised vital funds but have also helped raise awareness of Canine Partners in their community. We’re very grateful for their support!
