Bamburgh Castle often known as “The King of Castles” was once the royal seat of the Kings of Northumbria. The Castle has stood guard over this beautiful coastline (recently voted Britain’s best coastal destination) for over 1400 years. Spanning nine acres of land on its rocky plateau, Bamburgh Castle is one of the largest inhabited castles in the country. On 18 August for visitors to the Castle, the owners have invited Canine Partners for an awareness and collection day to highlight the work carried out by the charity.

U3A are organising an afternoon tea to raise vital funds so that we can train more amazing assistance dogs. Join them at The George Reynolds Centre in Crewkerne on Sunday 23 June for a delicious afternoon tea. You can also meet one of our canine partners, Delia!
The afternoon will include the options of cream tea, afternoon tea or sparkling tea paired with plenty of exciting stalls to peruse selling crafts, produce, bring and buy and cake.
