Disclaimer: Please remember to always, introduce new foods gradually and make sure all ingredients are suitable for your dog’s individual dietary needs.
Here’s what you need and how to create them.
Ingredients:
- Around 1L of low-salt vegetable stock
- ½ a large courgette (grated)
- 1 apple (grated)
- 1 sweet orange pepper (finely chopped)
How to make it:
- Mix all the ingredients together and pour into your lolly moulds.
- Add a lolly stick if you’d like to hold it while your dog enjoys their treat, or leave the stick out for easy, supervised free feeding.
- Freeze for 4–6 hours, depending on the size of your moulds.
- For dental safety, allow the lolly to soften slightly before giving it to your dog rather than serving it rock hard.
Fancy a different flavour?
Swap the vegetable stock for water mixed with tinned tuna or add some chopped cooked chicken for an extra tasty treat!
