Real-life hero dogs meet PAW Patrol

For two of our partnerships, a recent visit to Chessington World of Adventures was much more than just a fun family day out – it was an opportunity to celebrate the life-changing impact assistance dogs have every day.

Claire and her Canine Partner Sophie, alongside Brandon and his Canine Partner June, were invited to an exclusive preview of the new World of PAW Patrol themed land before it opened to the public.

Joining families from fellow Assistance Dogs UK (ADUK) charities, they spent the day meeting PAW Patrol characters and exploring the attraction, while highlighting the incredible difference assistance dogs make to the lives of the people they support.

Our kids are huge PAW Patrol fans, so it made the day even more special. It was lovely to celebrate everything Sophie does for me every day. She’s my real-life hero.

Television personality Dani Dyer and her children also attended the preview event, helping welcome families as they explored the new themed area together.

The day also created an opportunity to introduce new audiences to the work of assistance dog charities through media coverage and social media.

Chessington World of Adventures will also welcome Canine Partners puppies in training for socialisation visits, helping prepare them for their own life-changing roles supporting disabled people.

We were delighted to be part of this exciting launch, celebrating the life-changing role of assistance dogs. While PAW Patrol showcases heroic dogs on screen, we see their real-world impact every day. Our assistance dogs help their partners gain independence, build confidence, and live life on their own terms.
