I am a bouncy chap who on exercise lacked a little self-control around toys, this, alongside some allergy management needs meant I wasn’t able to be a fully jacketed Canine Partner but I did become a Canine Companion. Unfortunately due to no fault of my own, it didn’t quite work out with the family I was with. Dog wellbeing is at the heart of Canine Partners and it was decided a career change to the Dog Ambassador Team was best for me and I LOVE IT. I live with my handler Geraldine and her husband Stephen another wonderful volunteer and the best bit is I gained a Golden Retriever brother to play with.
Geraldine has been with Canine Partners for over 8 years now, initially starting out as a Puppy Training Volunteer before branching out into other volunteering roles based at our National Training Centre. Now she has me by her side!
I really enjoy long walks with my brother when we aren’t training or at events.
I am fairly new to the team but I have been working very hard with Geraldine and we can now show case lots of the skills a Canine Partner could do. We are very proud of what we have achieved so far and cannot wait to see what we have in store for the future
